Criffel Cottage is located outside of the village of Ruthwell in Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland. Ruthwell is a tiny farming village which is famous for being the location of the worlds first savings bank.

The cottage is an ideal base for a holiday to unwind and explore the area, or as stopping off point for other parts of of Scotland - we are only 20 drive from the M6/M74. The location is very peaceful with the only the owners cottage nearby sitting on a 3.5 acre site next to a newly planted woodland.
